Geta wearing paludamentum
Geta clothed in the paludamentum. (Geta, A.D. 189-212; Roman emperor, murdered by Caracalla.) From a marble bust in the Louvre, found at Gabii in a perfect state of preservation. The busts of Geta are rare, Caracalla having commanded that the statues of his brother be destroyed.
