Rifles of Old West
Oldtime Western rifles. The lower one is the one given by Kit Carson to Oliver Wiggins at Taos in 1841. Nineteen of the 27 tacks are Carson's "coups" and the others are Wiggins'. Rifles are part of the Colorado State Historical Society Collection.
