Postcard commemorating the patriot protest of the British Tea Act of 1773. Organized by the group sons of liberty, patriots disguised as Native Americans dumped tea into the Boston Harbor. Postcard image after an engraving from 1784; text includes: "Boston tea-party. Three cargoes of tea destroyed. Dec. 16, 1773." Image published: 1903.
